Cosy Home Show

Change4Chalfont helped residents of Chalfont St Peter find new ways to save on their energy bills at the Cosy Home Show at Gold Hill Baptist Church in March 2014.



There was impartial advice on home heating, new low-e coatings for windows and solar panels. There was also the chance to get hands-on with lots of energy saving gadgets and a demonstration of radiator foil by David Burbidge. Foil is the cheapest energy-saving intervention that also saves money the quickest.

We borrowed a thermal imaging camera from Bucks County Council and trained seventeen volunteers to use it. We went on to scan forty homes and gave householders feedback about their scans at the Cosy Home Show.
